Seeing as I am the new admin here I have to introduce myself. Laughing
Nice forum you guys have here.

I use to own a 1.4 Turbocharged Corsa. Which was quite nippy, but converted it back to standard and sold everything to a fellow club member. Sad

Now I drive a slow ass Corsa! Also owned a turbocharged Opel Monza CD 16V, But removed the motor and sold the body. I have been busy with a project Corsa for the past 8 months. The car will mainly be used for drag racing and the odd track day. Stripped out interior with a 6 point roll cage. Most of the work is being carried out by myself. Except the assembling of the motor. Hope to have it running by November this year.

The motor specs are as follow:

    C20xe Block
    Costcast Head (Ported polished)
Valve seats grinded (Polished valve faces)
    New valve stem seals
    New valve guides
    CD Cams
    Scat conrods
    Wiseco pistons 8:1 comp
    King Bearings
    Arp rod bolts
    Arp Head studs
    KKK K16 Turbo
    MSD Streetfire Ignition wires
    New water pump
    GM Oil pump
    Z20LET MLS Head gasket
    MSX management system
    F28 6 Speed Gearbox
    TS LSD

Things I still need to get:
    1000cc RC Injectors
Innovate wideband lambda sensor + gauge
    Intercooler
    ARP Main stud kit
    Coilpack

With this setup I am aiming for mid 12's and with the addition of a bigger turbo and full slicks low 11's.

The look I am going for is Eurostyle. Here is a sneak peak of what the car will look like when its done.

    Thanks for the compliments.

With the KKK turbo we are limited to running 1 bar boost. So estimated power should be at 220kw max. When I fit a bigger turbo I am looking in the region of 300 - 350kw. But the motor will be built to handle well over 400kw easily. As for fueling it will be pump fuel with water/meth injection for the beginning and as we increase the boost, will be running avgas.

Like the saying goes if U cant beat them Join them! Lmao

Is the KKK turbo a standard TS turbo, Why did u decide on such Low comp. Gooi it 9.1 cr, So it can be more responsive. Are u going 2 be using it as a daily driver? Otherwise I would suggest not using pump fuel at all.

Yes it is the standard TS Turbo. The comp is not that low. The head has been skimmed quite a bit already and the block has been resurfaced and o-ringed. If my calculations are correct I will be sitting with a cr of 8.5:1.

Its not going to be a daily driver, but occasionally I will take it to the streets. Why don't you suggest using pump fuel?
