    With the unichip you must still buy a rev limiter or change the crystal and still add a vtec module to activate the vtec.The smt6 already have a built in vtec controller but you still need to add a rev limiter on the other hand the dicktator has everything built in and you dont have to remove your standard ecu they can just tap in how is your smt6 chip?

    For my application the smt6 works lekker but ja, you will need to shift your rev limit higher. Hondamad is selling a smt8,mayb that has all the features you need. I'm gonna try an call him quick then I'll let you know.

    Ok...haven't updated in awhile now. Most recent items acquired and fitted is lightweight rims and the CTR intake I bought from Morne. Next to come, will be a header and a set of cam gears. Then it gonna be back to the Tuner for a remap Twisted Evil

    Im taking her in the end of the month to be tuned.I decided to go with the new uniq chip just hope she makes above 130kw Shane fitted a set of cam gears recently dont know if thats gonna make any difference will post some new pix of my engine bay and car shortly what induction kit are you currently using i wanna replace my whale penis with one of those motorcade cai?

    I have a simota induction...also looking to fit a full CAI. heard the Motorcade 1 is good aswell. If you have the standard cams, then I don't expect you to see much of a gain from having cam gears fitted. might make a slight difference tho. Where did you decide to do the tuning?

    KSD I had my previous honda tuned by Kosie and was very happy with his work.Ive heard that he revs the crap out of the cars he tunes but if she survives then she should be reliable.

    Car looks lekker neat and low what lowering kit do you have in just springs or Ian glass shocks and lowering springs my ride needs to be lowered badly looks like a 4x4 compare to the other tecs ive seen

    Serviced my baby over the weekend and fitted a Megan Header. So now she's almost where I want her to be, for now Twisted Evil just waiting for a set of Camgears from Hondamad and then it's time to retune the car for Saldanha next month.

    Howzit going PJ ive also fitted one of those Megan headers at profit but wasnt fitted properly its blowing at the kuckle like a dragon have you put her on the dyno yet to see what power she is making with the header fitted some have gain like 7kw dont know if that is a bullsh#t story?

    Not yet buddy. only gonna have her on the dyno once I get my cam gears cos I need to retune with all the extra's fitted. Well I can feel a great improvement after I fitted the header but my figures on the dyno won't tell me exactly wat I gained from fitting the header only. It will be intake,header and camgears altogether.

    Went to the ctsr dyno day on saturday and guess what?
    I have lost a lot of power by fitting a megain branch Sakkie said his dyno is the same as ksd my car was sitting on 135kw and 203nm before fitting the branch and on satuday the car was on 127kw and 158nm this is very weird what u think? I should of been on at least 140kw and 205nm from what ive heard from people who have fitted this branch.

    That doesn't sound good. That's the type of power strong b16's are making. Does the car feel like something is wrong? The manifold is maybe leaking or you don't mayb have any engine light comin on?

    I had the megan branch fitted at profit and there was a slight blow by the knuckle i also fitted a normal simota induction kit took the whale tollie off there is no engine light coming on the car does feel abit sluggish Nivans figures was 125kw not sure about the torque does he have cams in? Sakkie also said my car is making power passed 7500 where Theo set the limiter he told me its pointless shifting the limiter with stock cams my car should make way more power i think if tuned right even without cams.
